Staff Relocation

We aim to offer a relocation service that helps eliminate a number of issues that are involved when relocating staff.  Whether you are considering moving one key member of staff, or a whole company division.  Moving employees to a new location often affects their entire family. Therefore if family members are unhappy with relocating, this in turn can cause upset and stress within the family directly affect the employee’s performance at work.

Employers should not only take into account their duty to the employee, but the concerns and needs of the family unit as a whole.

So how can employers help employees and their families adjust to the idea of relocating and help them settle into the new location as quickly as possible?  An effective solution for minimising stress levels and family resistance is to offer practical guidance, assistance and advice, assuring that employees and their partners feel supported during this difficult transition period.

We feel that one of the key factors to a successful employee relocation is the inclusion of the whole family unit from the outset, this ensures that not only the employee, but everyone within the family unit feels involved with, and therefore part of the relocation process, in turn reducing stress and anxiety levels.

What we Do

1. We arrange to meet each relocation family in turn and take a full search brief, including preferred locations for consideration and property search criteria. Each family will be assigned their own relocation consultant throughout, assuring consistency and a direct point of contact to call upon at anytime.
   
   
2. Orientation tours will be arranged either in groups or individually to introduce employees and their families to the area.
   
   
3. We research the market place thoroughly weeding out unsuitable property.  We search and find the widest selection of properties available to suit, that are within budget and the search brief requirements.
   
   
4. We pre-view and short-list the best selection of suitable properties for their consideration. We update and stay in regular contact with each family through progress reports, photographs and location information of each short-listed property for their consideration.
   
   
5. Once a shortlist has been agreed we arrange all viewing appointments and we can book hotel reservations, and organise travel arrangements on request.
   
   
6. We accompany property viewings, and after discussing offering tactics we will be happy to put offers forward and negotiate the best deal and suitable terms to suit them.
   
   
7. School searches/prospectus and arranging educational tours, career consultancy for partner, leisure facilities etc. Every family will have a tailor made package suited to their individual requirements.
   
   
8. If required we can provide help and assistance to families with marketing of their existing home.  We can liaise and arrange valuations and quotations from local Estate Agents within close proximity to their existing property.
   
   
9. We keep the property transaction on the right track by keeping in contact with solicitors, Agents/Vendors and Mortgage Brokers, keeping the relocation family updated throughout the transaction.

For group moves we can help family members to adjust and settle by creating a drop in centre at the new location during this transition phase.  This can be a valuable source of support and peer group contact for all concerned.
